Liam Carroll - Storyteller, Writer, Performer
Early Years to Key Stage 2
I often use a small harp and a frame drum when telling my tales.
I don't read from books and my stories are well rehearsed and normally have parts where children can join in.
For Early Years I tell classic easy-to-join-in-with tales like Little Red Hen, & Chicken Licken but also tell verbal versions of contemporary picture books stories such as We're Going on a Bear Hunt & The Gruffalo
For KS1 & 2 I tell fun and participatory stories drawn from the less well known stock of folk & fairy tales. I also tell
riddles and traditional tales from the mythologies of the Ancient Greeks, Anglo-Saxons & Vikings. A small sample of stories
